Behold, the air hockey table. This year for Christmas, we bought the kids (and ourselves - who are we kidding!) an air hockey table on Craig's List. I am a huge fan of Craig's list.... our current end tables and TV cabinet were bought this way as well. 100 bucks, and now it is in our basement to enjoy. And then, when we grow out of it, back on Craig's List it will go. Love that.
The kids are getting a kick out of playing it, and yesterday I caught Ben and Ali playing their favorite way... with all 4 pucks at once. The fun part is, whenever Ali would hit a puck, she would yell "HI-YAH", Miss Piggy style. She has been practicing her karate screams just about nonstop since seeing The Muppet Movie, and so it only makes sense that her favorite new phrase would make it into air hockey as well. ;)
