Yes, folks... it's that time of year again. Time for baseball preseason to begin. Pitchers and catchers report today for my beloved CLEVELAND INDIANS.
In honor of my all-time favorite sport, I have added a new line of bowls to my etsy store. Introducing....
Baseball bowls! Hand-knit and felted and then hand-embroidered. Go check them out! www.etsy.com/shop/franticcrafter

Blue Park
Just a few pictures of our trip to the "blue park" yesterday. Ali calls it the blue park because of the color of the equipment, but after looking at the sky in these photos, I think the blue park has a double meaning. :)

SNOW, kinda.
We had an honest to goodness snow storm this morning! The kids were so excited... they moved just as fast as they could and put on all kinds of clothing and ran outside. See the heaps of snow? No? That is because it ended as soon as it started. I am a long-time snow hater, but even I almost felt bad for them.
Completely unrelated... look at these photos of my kid. I pulled out my REAL (non-phone) camera yesterday, and of course Ali was more than happy to pose for me. These 2 photos particularly stuck out for me. So very Ali. :)
Happy Saturday, all!

DIY Day - Paper Flowers
DIY DAY: Paper Flowers Roundup
I always have so many ideas floating around in my head. The great thing about the internet is that there are so many great ideas floating around out there. The bad thing about the internet is that there are so many great ideas floating around out there.
Sooo... I am going to attempt to corral some of those ideas into my blog for future reference for both myself and whoever else would benefit. Further saturation of the internet with good ideas. Ahh!
First up: a collection of paper flowers. The links to the DIYs are located below the pictures. Enjoy!
Now go forth and make flowers!

Oh, Phil
He may have seen his shadow, but I'm ok with 6 more weeks of winter if it's the kind of winter we have been having so far! Winter without coats? Winter with flowers blooming outside? Sign me up ;)

Juice box, baby
Ali, my little boot-loving girl, has also become very much a fan of top 40 type music these days. She knows the lyrics to a surprising number of songs, actually. It always amazes me. The other day, we heard the song "I Love Rock 'N Roll" (I think that is the name), and she sang along with her own twist... "I love rock 'n roll, put another dime in the JUICE BOX, baby." I laughed out loud. Try explaining to a 4-year-old what a juke box is. No clue. She could identify a DVD, an ipod, and the logo for netflix, but juke box? Not so much. :)
In other news, I added a bunch of goodies to my etsy store this week. Click on the link to the right for a peek-a-loo.

New goodies for Etsy
I have been a busy little beaver making some new bowls for my etsy shop. Click on the etsy link to the right if you want to see some more photos.
Also, I finally finished my Endpaper Mitts. I have had this yarn and pattern tagged on Ravelry forEVER. I love them. Of course, James told me they were perfect for when I am standing under a bridge trying to warm up my hands over a steel drum. He's just jealous. ;)
